PAOLA'S SPEECH IN MEMORY OF FABRIZIO MURTAS

It is my characteristic to always enhance the positive side of life and its events.
There is no denying that we miss Fabrizio, but what his life has given us is much stronger than his absence.
I personally and paradoxically feel his presence more than before, perhaps because his absence made me suddenly aware of how precious and pure the friendship between us was and for which I am grateful.
Today I would like to thank all those who followed us in this initiative because there is no better gesture than a gift like this to share, even with those who were not fortunate enough to meet Admiral Murtas, all that he gave us: true friendship, boundless generosity and helpfulness, healthy passions-sailing, science, the beauty of life-and his perennial , unforgettable smile.
